Dominator adds two new tri-deck yachts to its Ilumen range

Dominator has announced the addition of new 36-metre and 38-metre Tri Deck Ilumen models to their range – these exciting additions follow the success of the popular 28-metre Ilumen model. Naval architecture is the work of NavalHEAD and both models will feature M73L engines, giving a maximum speed of 21.7 knots for the 36-metre model and 20.5 knots for the 38-metre model (pictured). Electric stabilisers will ensure comfort at anchor and when cruising.

The two new designs will provide extended space and both vessels will feature the characteristic Ilumen moon roof in the main cabin, flooding the space with natural light. This, coupled with a bespoke interior by the Italian design house Luca Catino, promises bright and modern designs with features that bring the ocean indoors. “Interior yacht design is constantly evolving and relies on the visual perception and sensitivity in the use of materials,” says Catino. “The colours and simplicity of the shapes used on an Ilumen ensure the sense of serenity on board while simultaneously reflecting the ultimate elegance and luxury.” 

With the addition of numerous entertainment features on both yachts, the team at Dominator describe these designs as a ‘new way of experiencing the sea’. These include multiple flexible leisure areas in the interior that can be adapted to the needs of the owner, including a multi-functional beach platform that can be raised as a diving board or lowers for easy access to water toys.

Dominator is now searching for new premises to build these new models, having outgrown their current facility. The need for a new yard is a positive reflection of their success, as they celebrate 20 years of business this year.
