Now recruiting a Yacht Manager

KK Superyachts is currently recruiting a Yacht Manager to join their friendly, dynamic team in Monaco.

Nearly 15 years after the company was first founded, the core values of KK Superyachts remain the same; to provide a market-leading, knowledge-based service for yacht owners, handling all their yachting needs in a seamless and trustworthy way.

The Yacht Manager position would consist of the following duties:

  • Reporting to the Director you will take responsibility for your fleet of yachts as the primary point of contact. You will work closely with the specialists in the management team who will support you in the functions which require their area of expertise
  • Providing the principal point of contact for the Yacht Crew/Owner
  • Operational Management of a fleet of yachts
  • Technical Management with the support of the Technical Manager
  • Crew Management 
  • Certification (Statutory and Class) and Insurance
  • Accounts and Finance (Review invoices, submit fund requests to Owners etc.) with the support of the Accounts team
  • Safety Management/ISM
  • Security Management/ISPS
  • Participation in the Emergency Response Team
  • Prepare Monthly Management Reports
  • Assisting to obtain new management business and cross-selling all KK Superyachts services
  • Any other task reasonably requested

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Previous yacht management experience of minimum 5 years;
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels (dealing with Owners, Captains and colleagues);
  • Effective problem solving and multi-tasking;
  • Working knowledge of ISM/ISPS, SOLAS, MLC & STCW. Previous auditing and/or surveying experience would be beneficial;
  • Technical knowledge of yachts
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and French. Proficiency in other languages, will be beneficial;
  • Live within commuting distance of Monaco;
